Please attach a color scan of the signed licence agreement with your submission. Keep the hard copy in your records as we will request it when the article is accepted for publication.

Essays should conform to the humanities style (notes and bibliography), as defined in the current edition of The Chicago Manual of Style. Recommended length for articles is 4500-8200 words. Please use the attached stylesheet; the file can also be used as a template for your submission. The editors can assume no responsibility for loss of manuscripts. Manuscripts shall not be submitted simultaneously elsewhere.

All submissions are rigorously checked for plagiarism; we have a zero tolerance policy in this respect. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least two referees. The process usually takes three months.

The journal does not charge any publication fees.
